Breezy AI Search adds to your Shopify store with one HTML snippet pasted into your theme's code, just before the closing </body> tag. No app install, no separate dashboard to manage inside Shopify.
Five steps, no app store involved
- 1 Sign up and add your store
Create a Breezy AI Search account and add your store URL. Breezy crawls and indexes your public pages automatically.
- 2 Copy the embed snippet
In your dashboard, go to Search → Installation, pick Shopify, and copy the embed snippet.
- 3 Open your theme code
From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes. On your current theme, click … → Edit code.
- 4 Paste it into theme.liquid
Open Layout → theme.liquid, paste the snippet just before the closing </body> tag, and click Save. The widget loads on every storefront page.
- 5 Check it on your site
Open your live site, find the search box or search icon the widget adds, and run a quick search. You should see results appear.

Will the widget appear on my checkout pages?
No. Shopify locks down its checkout pages, so the widget shows on your storefront pages but not during checkout.
Will editing theme.liquid affect my Shopify theme updates?
Pasting a snippet into theme.liquid is a small, isolated addition. If you switch or update your theme, check that the snippet is still present afterward, since a new theme version starts from its own copy of theme.liquid.
