Yes, Breezy AI Search works on WordPress

Breezy AI Search is a hosted service added with one HTML snippet, not a WordPress plugin of its own. You paste the snippet into your site's footer with a free header and footer plugin, and it loads on every page.

How to install it

Five steps, all in your WordPress admin

  1. 1
Sign up and add your WordPress site

Create a Breezy AI Search account and add your WordPress site URL. Breezy crawls and indexes your public pages automatically.

  2. 2
    Copy the embed snippet

In your dashboard, go to Search → Installation, pick WordPress, and copy the embed snippet.

  3. 3
Install a header and footer plugin

In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New Plugin and install the free WPCode plugin (formerly Insert Headers and Footers). Head & Footer Code, or any plugin that adds scripts site-wide, works too.

  4. 4
    Paste it into the footer

Go to Code Snippets → Header & Footer, paste the snippet into the Footer box, and click Save Changes. The widget appears on every page automatically.

  5. 5
    Check it on your site

Open your live site, find the search box or search icon the widget adds, and run a quick search. You should see results appear.

Common questions

Is Breezy AI Search the same as the Breezy WordPress plugin?

No. Breezy AI Search is a separate, hosted service added with an HTML snippet. It shares a brand name with an older, separate WordPress plugin, but the two products are not the same and don't need to be installed together.

Do I need to install a plugin to use Breezy AI Search?

There's no Breezy plugin to install. The simplest route is a free header and footer plugin such as WPCode, which adds the snippet to your site's footer on every page, the same way you would add an analytics or chat script.

My site has a security plugin. Will it block the widget?

Usually not. If the widget doesn't appear, check whether a security plugin such as Wordfence, Really Simple SSL or iThemes Security, or your host's control panel, sets a Content Security Policy. The widget only needs our API domain allowed for scripts and connections, and the Installation page in your dashboard shows the exact fix.
