Breezy AI Search adds to your Squarespace site with one HTML snippet pasted into Code Injection's Footer box. No separate app or server-side install.
Four steps, done through Code Injection
- 1 Sign up and add your Squarespace site
Create a Breezy AI Search account and add your Squarespace site URL. Breezy crawls and indexes your public pages automatically.
- 2 Copy the embed snippet
In your dashboard, go to Search → Installation, pick Squarespace, and copy the embed snippet.
- 3 Paste it into the Footer box
In your Squarespace dashboard, go to Settings → Advanced → Code Injection, paste the snippet into the Footer box, and click Save. The widget appears on every page.
- 4 Check it on your site
Open your live site, find the search box or search icon the widget adds, and run a quick search. You should see results appear.

Common questions
Does every Squarespace plan support Code Injection?
No. Code Injection is included on the Core, Plus and Advanced plans, and on the older Business and Commerce plans. It isn't available on Basic or the older Personal plan. If you don't see it under Settings → Advanced, check your current plan.
Will the widget match my Squarespace site’s design?
The widget follows each visitor’s light or dark mode automatically, and its accent colour and font are configurable from Search → Configuration in your dashboard.
